Experience God’s grace, Expand His glory

Everything we do at the encounter revolves around these two statements. We bring the experience of God’s incredible grace to each individual, thru offering a redemptive community; and we work diligently to expand God’s glory. On Sunday am’s at 10:06 we offer people an encounter with the grace of God thru energetic and reflective worship, and a challenge. God’s full acceptance is for  people who have fallen desperately short. Yet God stands with open arms for those who simply repent and agree to accept His grace. Then, as people who have experienced transformation, we endeavor to expand the glory of God by living consistent lives and partner with God in impacting our community! We believe firmly in putting our ‘money where our mouth is.’ Each month (1st Things 1st) we actually set our time aside to serve our community. This is an exciting and  growing aspect of the encounter…    This is who we are

Engage

Engage is stage one. We want people to engage God and each other. This takes place on Sunday AM and allows us to hear from God, and respond to His 'pull' on our lives. It the chance to investigate the claims of Christ and investigate the encounter.

Establish

Establish is phase two. It is becoming 'established' in our faith. This takes place thru the Fusion ministry. That is where people come together and discuss the message and grow in relationship with one another. This is a vital link to your spiritual progress!

Equip

Equip is an essential part of the development of leaders at the encounter. We need healthy leaders and Equipping them is something we take seriously. Being Equipped as a leader takes place at various times thru-out the year. If you have interest in serving as a leader at the encounter, talk to one of the pastors! We challenge you!

Life transformation vs. religious rules:

The goal at the encounter is not behavior management. Here, everyone is in process and we want to offer grace and support as God transforms lives.

Acceptance vs. judgment:

We know everyone comes in with a variety of backgrounds including brokenness and imperfections. We want you to feel accepted here.

Dialogue vs. being right:

Regardless of how difficult your questions may seem, we want to dialogue with you. There are a lot of barriers that keep people from God, let’s talk!

Fun vs. boredom:

We want to laugh, live and learn together.

Action vs. mere words:

Many people talk about serving, we prioritize it. If you have a need, we want to be part of the solution.

Authenticity vs. pretense:

Real life, real issues, real solutions. Let’s just be real!
