Reflections from Easter

As I was taking down Easter decorations shortly after Easter, a question popped into my mind--Shouldn't Easter just be beginning? We celebrated an empty tomb, dead God-become Man-Risen Savior walking and there I was putting away the banner that proclaims this gift. So I began to pray that I'd be living Easter today. That tomorrow I wouldn't neglect walking in the power of the resurrection. Because without it, I'm without hope. 1 Corinthians 15:19-20 says "If we have put our hope in Christ for this life only, we should be pitied more than anyone. But Christ has been raised from the dead..." ...

More questions than Answers...

"O Israel, put your hope in the Lord, for with the Lord is unfailing love and with him is full redemption." Psalm 130:7 ...

Baptism

The beautiful symbolism behind baptism... what it means to come up out of the water and walk into 'new life', life with Christ. As I saw five (FIVE!) of my friends enter the water and emerge beautifully whole into a new part of their journey, I was struck by just how amazing this life as a Jesus-follower is. And I was so thankful for what we leave behind. ...
